Great treatment schedule by Abby, after a long international flight and walking crooked for a week, she had me back to normal after a few treatments…ready for my long flight back home to the USA. Did micro needling and cupping- worked well.

What to look for in a physiotherapist

When choosing a physiotherapist, it is important to look for someone who is qualified and experienced in treating your specific injury or pain. You should also ask around for recommendations from friends and family members.

Another important factor to consider is the therapist's approach to treatment. Everyone responds differently to treatment, so you want to make sure the therapist you choose has a method that will work for you.

Finally, make sure the therapist offers a free consultation so you can get to know them and their approach to treatment. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you have and to get a feel for their bedside manner.

1. Consider their experience and qualifications.

A physiotherapist with more experience will likely have a better success rate in treating your specific condition.

2. Ask around for recommendations

If you have friends or family members who have seen a physiotherapist in Hillcrest, ask them for recommendations. They can give you first-hand insights into what their experience was like and whether or not they would recommend that particular therapist.

3. Consider their area of expertise.

There are many different types of physiotherapy, so you want to make sure the physiotherapist you choose specializes in the type of treatment you need. For example, if you’re dealing with a sports injury, you’ll want to choose a physiotherapist who specializes in sports medicine.

4. Ask about their approach to treatment.

Everyone responds differently to treatment, so you want to make sure the physiotherapist you choose has an approach that will work for you. Ask about their methods and whether they use any pain management techniques.

5. Make sure they offer a free consultation.
